This is my first time ordering from this place via Uber Eats due to the high reviews on Google. I have to say that the portions are way too “generous” for the price and for TX. A $14.99 chicken 65 is packed in a half full of appetizer container rather than a full container! Definitely not going back!
I went there with my friends a few weeks ago! Taste of Nepal was best place for party with other people! And the foods were so delicious! I really recommend some menu like chicken momo, chicken Tikka Masala and butter chicken. Also, all clerks were so kind👍
It was my first time to try Nepalese food. Everything was really delicious. The chicken momo in particular were excellent, with a juices!
The restaurant was empty at 2pm, which was late in the lunch time, and it was a very quiet and calm space. I would definitely go back to eat there again!
The food was just amazing, real Indian taste. I order chicken kadahi, even though the rice was less but the taste was still amazing. I also ordered some chicken soup which also tasted very nice, and it came with a side of papad.
Great experience and food with traditional Nepalese hospitality! Quick service !
The naan was very soft and melted in the mouth ..( literally the best I had ) The Nepali mutton curry is a must try with the right amount of spice and heat .
Tea was a little cold .
The veg momos were not bland like other places and had a good filling and flavor with thin handmade wrappers ( not thick market bought )
Overall worth the price !
Will definitely revisit , one of our favorites in Chicagoland for traditional Nepalese food .
The owner and wait staff were very hospitable .
First time eating Nepalese food, and it was delightful!
Try the sweet tamarind sauce with the chickpea papadun crackers.
I was pleasantly surprised by the cilantro on the mixed vegetable pakora and the chicken momo dumplings. The pakora reminded me of sweet potato fries with veggies and cilantro.
The server was patient as I asked many questions about ingredients in everything.
I'd recommend for the next time you're not quite sure what you are hungry for. You'll find something to love.
I went back recently with my husband, and though he wasn't adventurous in his palate, he really enjoyed it and it made for a fabulous date night.
I recently went for lunch at this restaurant, and it was a culinary disaster. The food was not only undercooked but also lacking in flavor. The chicken momos was frozen and raw, rubbery pieces of chicken that were inedible. The veggie samosas were doughy and underbaked, making it nearly impossible to chew. To make matters worse, the service was bad, and the staff seemed indifferent to our complaints. I would strongly advise against dining at this establishment if you have any appreciation for properly prepared Nepali cuisine.
Came here on a chilly June evening with my girlfriend after we decided we were in the mood for some Indian cuisine- it was the perfect pick. We were immediately seated by super friendly staff, and throughout our meal they were just as efficient. We ordered two chicken dishes, garlic naan, and shared a mango lasso. Food was flavorful, hot, and exactly what we wanted. If you’re in the area, definitely check them out! We will be making the drive to come back for sure.
